Recipe #1 –

“It is not how many years we live, but what we do with them. It is not what we receive, but what we give to others.”
General of The Salvation Army – 1934-1939 – Evangeline Booth (1865-1950)

Ingredients:

1 part Ambition

2 parts Creativity

4 parts Mission

5 parts Selflessness

Measureless Amounts of Jesus

Directions:

As we make our way through this hectic, complicated and over scheduled life that we find ourselves in from time to time, we need to remember why it is we’re here. We need to focus on the end product; serving and being there for Others. We’re here to create impact that will last a lifetime and in order to do that it’s all about who we are and what we’re made of. It can’t be about Us, it must be about Them. So in our lives we need to add ambition and creativity to stir our soul and get us motivated, then mix in selflessness and being driven for the mission of meeting the needs of Others. While consistently adding large amounts of Jesus to our day so that we can walk the path and share the journey!
